This is a superb campsite.
Situated in Mahlow which is south of Berlin. The pitches are spacious, and each one has it's own electric point and water tap. The toilets & showers are very clean and there is a large, covered communal area. There is also a small kitchen with cooking facilities, an area to wash up your dishes and washing machines, There is also a basic shop on site. It is a very quiet campsite however there is some noise from the air planes taking off from Schönefeld Airport but this is in no way a distraction. The campsite sells the Berlin Welcome Card (you will need a zone A,B & C card). The train station (S-Bahn line S2) is a 5 minute drive away which has free parking. Getting to Potsdamer Platz in the centre of Berlin via the S-Bahn takes around 30 minutes. Around 10 minutes from the campsite is a large Rewe supermarket, next door to Rewe is a Lidl. We did eat at the local steakhouse and the food was delicious and there was lots of it.
If you want to stay outside of Berlin and do not mind travelling in via train then I would highly recommend this campsite.
